GAZA : A VISION OF HOPE

This project, which is envisioned by a coalition of Israeli and Palestinian experts, aims to foster hope during the bloody conflict through a comprehensive recovery strategy for Gaza. While it seems that the political solutions do not yet exist, this coalition aims to find solutions through planning. It proposes the transformation of Gaza into an open metropolis with robust urban services and a sustainable, climate-resilient economy, emphasizing the importance of culture and heritage in rebuilding civic identity and social cohesion. A metropolitan governance framework is proposed for managing the area, fostering regional connections, and promoting dialogue, healing, and reconciliation. This vision for the future of Gaza, the West Bank, and the Middle East region aims to advance regional peace based on a two-state solution and common interests, shared infrastructure, emerging markets, and transport networks.
